Welcome Jenni Bowlin Studio!

Well . . . it's been far too long !!
It's been a busy holiday season at my house and I've not
had nearly as much time to create as I would like.

But I have a great reason to be doing so today
as we have a brand new color story up over at

and we are happy to share that as this challenge
runs right in the middle of Christmas, we are giving you
TWO WEEKS
to play along.
Our final sponsor of the year is the fabulous

Each of our designers played along using new stamps from JBS.

I went quite Clean and Simple with this card using JBS's
Typewriter and Job Ticket stamps and the colors for this week.

Notice anything odd ??

I didn't notice until about 24 hours after I made the card.
Rather than 'fix' it, I decided to have fun and have a
LITTLE GIVEAWAY!

Leave a comment on this post with the 'typo' on this card
and I'll randomly draw from the comments for some
YUMMY BAKER'S TWINE
from

After you leave your comment, make sure to get on
over to The Play Date Cafe and play along.
Someone is going to win

which will be a fabulous shopping spree for the New Year!

Don't forget to leave your comment here for a chance to win
baker's twine from The Twinery!

See you soon!

So 'Nauti-Cool' !

Happy Monday and what a fun continuation of my weekend!

I have had the honor being the Guest Designer over at

and today is a set that has quickly become a favorite
in my personal collection called 'Knotty'

I made use of some of my favorite die cuts from Lil' Inker Designs
and Die-Versions to spotlight these fun stamps.
I think the design speaks for itself and the recipe is at
the end of this post.

and of course . . .

I head back to the Clean and Simple design . . .

I love the colors using the kraft base and the beautiful
soft robin's egg blue.
I embossed the top panel using an EF from Lifestyle Crafts.
The accent lines on the base card were stamped along with the
anchor, waves & sentiment from the set.

Here's the fabulous set that has so many possiblities . . .

I love the tiny waves !

I'll be back for one more day {Wednesday}
with my final post for Avery Elle.
I've had a ball so far and I hope you will stop
and say hello !

Guest Designing with Avery Elle

It's Day #2 Guest Designing with the folks over at

I'm just gonna say it . . . I had lots of fun creating this card

I used a Spellbinders die to create a frame from coordinating paper
then stamped the the hearts in their own 'geometric' pattern.
Look at that . . . talk about matchy-matchy !  Even the baker's twine !

Here's the set I used called 'Lots of Love'

I'm really happy to have two more days left sharing on behalf
of Avery Elle.  I'll be back on Tuesday & Wednesday but until then,
I hope you will stop by Avery Elle blog
and say hello.

Have a great day !

Honored to be Guest Designing with . . .

Surprise !

It's usually pretty quite here at The Open Window during
the weekend, but I have some very special posts I'll be sharing
with you over the next few days.

I'm honored to be a Guest Designer over at

and it's Release Week with brand new stamp sets
that I absolutely adore !

Today, I am sharing a card I made using a new set called
'Lots of Love'

Another Clean & Simple design for me.
I used my Heart border punch from Martha Stewart
and glued a few of the tiny heart punch-outs
next to the sentiment.
This card would also be great using each one
of the three heart images too.

Here is a look at the set I played with . . .
It's absolutely terrific !

I hope you will make a visit over to the
and tell them I said hello !

I'll be sharing more fun cards over the next few days,
so I hope you'll stop by again.
