Happy Saturday ... What Have YOU Been Up To?

It's a bit of a dreary Saturday here in Northern Illinois.
A little papercraft shopping always brightens my day,
so that's how I spent a bit of today.

I love working with these colors and thought I would
make a card for a few challenges.

I used the fabulous 'sequin background' from
I love, LOVE this background!
I used a sweet little Studio G set for the flowers
and the sentiment is from Wordsworth.

Here are the challenges:

Before I go, here's something I would LOVE
to know.....
WHAT ARE YOU CREATING THIS WEEKEND?

Please leave a comment...it's always fun to see

  11. Brilliant card, love the assymmetrical design and your incorporation of stitching :). Weather has been much nicer here in the UK (which is a bloomin miracle) so haven't been creating too much but I know what you mean about hitting the craft stores on a dreary day. In the UK that's fatal for the wallet haha. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Pxx

  13. LOVE this card Julie, those flowers are so pretty with the little pearls on and I love the turquoise background behind them too. FAB!

My friend and I went to a craft shop yesterday and I bought a 'mad hatter cake' die cutter, it's SO funky! I've done a quick dummy run with it, and had so much fun, but it's not perfect so need to do it again properly now! As usual it's in bright colours!! ;o)
