Happy Earth Day !

I am pretty sure this is a first for me in the 16+ years I've been
a paper crafter....I'm celebrating with a card for...

As soon as I got the newest stamps from Paper Smooches, I just
new I was headed for an Earth Day card, no question!
This design is ala my dear friend, Savannah O'Gwynn.

Doesn't this look like something Savvy would put together ?
I am a huge fan of everything she does but she IS the master of whimsy !

I've been collecting sheets of alphabets for about six months now and decided
it was time to start using them and I managed to do that with this card!

'Happy' is from Authentique
'Earth' is from Prima
'Day' is from Echo Park

The base paper is from MME's Fine & Dandy 'Girl' 6x6 pad.
I thought it worked perfectly with these stamps.
I used a little Stickles around the cloud for some additional texture.

How about those tall trees from Paper Smooches ?!
All the paper-piecing was done with a variety of papers
{ see recipe below }

I also pulled out the 'Forest Whimsy' set from PS as well because no
little forest is complete with a a tree stump and a squirrel to join the party!

So happy you stopped by today!
Thank you as always, for all your kind comments
left along the way....

Precious ...

I'm on a baby card kick lately.
I think it's these adorable Stickerz from EAD Designs
that inspire me.
Today I bring two additional inspirations for my card as well.

First....

This beautiful color story from

The additional inspiration comes from a former teammate from the UK,
Debby Hughes over at Lime Doodle.
I totally cased a card she did this past week because I LoVe her style!
{you can find her original design here}
I used the 'Baby Safari' Stickerz from EAD, a few of my dies from
Spellbinders and just did a little layerin'!
I pulled papers from my 6x6 pads by Jillibean Soup & Cosmo Cricket.

We have a pretty amazing prize package up for grabs...

The very talented Theresa Momber, designer for Gina K Designs
is giving one lucky winner these fab sets worth $70!

So come play...COME PLAY!!!

Sharing a Sunny Day

Yes...two posts in one day!

I have had these projects sitting on my desk for awhile now
and really wanted to share them with you.
Well, one is new...and one is a repeat....
The first features the stamps and dies from

I love this paper from Jillibean Soup and thought
it was just right for this 'busy' little card.
It features all kinds of goodness from
including my favorite Cloud dies and
the Sentiment Flags & Stamps.
I wove a little baker's twine together
and pulled out my Martha 'Icicles' border
punch for the grass.

I love being a *Sweet Tooth Girl* over
at Sweet Stamp Shop
and although I don't do a lot of coloring,
I can't help but have fun when I do it
with these images!

This card is pretty self-explanatory...
simple and well, sweet.

Thanks for popping by again today!
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
