Happy Monday and welcome to this week's

You may have heard the sad news that EAD Designs will
be closing at the end of the month, so our design team is
savoring each week as we wind down our blog hops.

Hopefully, you joined me from

If not, I invite you to join us from the beginning at the

I have had so much fun this season creating Halloween cards
and EAD is a BIG reason . . . just LOOK at this guy ! ! !
To create this card, I focused on the fun Stickerz set called
'Halloween Owls'
I just love that star hanging and thought it would be great to
add dimension by adding star gems and tiny rhinestones.
The sparkling stars next to the owl magician are from the
'Hocus Pocus' Stickerz set.

The sentiment is from the 'Birthday Sentiments' Stickerz set.

The final day to place orders is October 21st
so make sure you get your order in quickly!
Remember . . .

It's time to send you on your way to

I hope you enjoyed your visit today and
I look forward to seeing you again soon !

Happy Labor Day to all of my U.S. friends and welcome

It's Monday and that means . . .

We welcome our September Guest Designer
Wendy's blog
Scrappy Day in Paradise

and hopefully you came by way of her blog.

If not, I invite you to start at the beginning over on the
because there is a great prize for a lucky visitor!

Last week, I played with retro images from the 'Groovy' Stickerz set by EAD
and thought I would share another CAS card with you.
I embossed the white panel with a heart EF from Sizzix,
and laid it on top of borders cut using a heart border punch from
Martha Stewart.  This card is all about the L.O.V.E.

Here's the groooooovy set I used this week

and just to remind you

It's time to send you on your way to

Thanks for stopping and make sure you leave a
little love before you leave.  I'd love to see
you win this week's prize !

New Release Previews Day One with The Craft's Meow

Welcome back to The Open Window.

Over the next five days, there is SO much to share
with you and I can't wait !

Let's get started with . . .

Day #1 of
New Release Previews
from

Each day this week, you will see one or two new sets
revealed and have a chance to win them all!

Before we get to it, I am so excited to welcome our
July Guest Designer at TCM...
Naomi Gong
She is super talented and I am so glad she
will be a part of the new release festivities.

Our first set was designed by my friend
Karen Baker called 'Hope Blooms' . . .

I so enjoy the designs that Karen brings us because
they are full of loveliness, thoughtfulness and simple beauty.

I colored the poppy using Copics.  I let it 'bleed' to lend to a
watercolor effect.  The beautiful papers are from Cosmo Cricket.
I created the borders using one of the new deep edge
punches from Martha Stewart.

Our next release preview . . .

is a stamp set designed by one of our newest illustrators,
Elizabeta Kushner called 'Ladies & Gents' . . .

No matter how hard I tried or whatever angle I came from,
I just couldn't get a good photo of this card.

I thought this was a perfect stamp to do a little paper-piecing, so I grabbed my
6x6 pads from BasicGrey
I thought it was fun to have the panel paper displaying clouds too!

I grabbed the abstract circle stamp from TCM's 'Typically Teen' set
because it makes the perfect sun.
I am nearly out of my pear-shaped gems, but I love using
these as raindrops.

Make sure you pop by
and check out the fabulous-ness
from all of the designers.
TCM is giving away a new release set
each day and today, you have a chance to win one of two sets! Make sure you leave a comment
on the blog for a chance to win!
