The Twinery + Authentique = Beauty

It has been Blog Hop Central this week
her at The Open Window and I am
really excited to come to you on a Saturday
with another project to share as part of another
terrific blog hop!

If you've arrived here from my teammate
Tifany's blog, then you are on your way!
If not, I'd like to invite you to go back just
a couple of stops to the
and get started there.  There are some fabby prizes
to be won just for popping by the designer's blogs
and leaving a comment.
There are only 12 blogs to make stops at
so you have plenty of time!

Gosh...I really had fun playing with these beautiful
papers from the 'Blissful' & 'Uncommon' collections
from Authentique.
The beautiful stamped sentiment is from Market Street Stamps.
I used a combination of the Lacey Circles & Standard
Circles dies from Spellbinders with the lovely
papers and Bazzill cardstock to create this layered medallion.
The 'scalloped' border is actually a portion of the new
Sizzix 'Album' die designed by Eileen Hull.

The beautiful center is from Prima and of course,
I accented the border of the card with a combo
of 'Charcoal' & 'Stone' bakers twine from The Twinery.

Hey!  Did you know that we are having an
Open Design Team Call over at The Twinery??!!
If you love working with our bakers twine and would
love an opportunity to design for one of the best
companies around, make sure you check out all
the details when you visit The Twinery blog.

We are giving away a

Colorful Bunch Sampler Pack
So make sure you leave a comment on each blog
on the hop....I hope YOU are the winner!

The next stop on the hop is the very talented

Tag...You're It!

Lil' Inker Designs
Blog Hop

A very busy week is coming to the same busy end!

It is time for everyone's
Clean and Simple Challenge

I am always so thankful to think CAS at least
once in my week...but I think this week has
brought it's share of that!

This week the challenge is 'Tag You're It!'
and of course, the idea is to come up with a
CAS tag.  I decided to put my tag on a greeting card
so I would have a ready-made holiday card.
I think these stamps are absolutely adorable and
gave me an additional challenge with coloring.
They are from this week's sponsor...

What I especially loved was the little critters were
all on one image (but could certainly be separated).
They are spaced apart in a great way and are facing
in the fun directions they would be as if they were
'having a little conversation' together with the little
cardinal in the tree.
I decided to match the colors of my tie-on bakers twine
from The Twinery with the ornaments on the tree.
Just an extra little touch.
Well...get on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge
and check out the other fun and fab tags from
my teammates...and have fun with the challenge!

The designers participating from The Twinery also had
a wonderful time using products from Clearsnap.
 For my project I used:

Design Adhesives Holly Border
Glitter in 'Fool's Gold'
Smooch Ink in 'Siren'

I love the new Heirloom Ornaments dies from Spellbinders
and the holly border just off-set on the side was a
perfect accent.  The berries are colored with the Smooch ink
and the border is stamped with a set from Hampton Arts.
The Radiant Circles punch is from EK Success and makes
an effective backdrop.

Of course, no project is complete without a
little bakers twine finish from The Twinery.

It's a Banner Birthday!

It's the final day of previews of the brand new releases from
The Craft's Meow

It's time for a little birthday fun...

This is another fun and fab owl from the collection
by Jenny called 'Whoo's Birthday'
I couldn't wait to grab for my papers from Bella Blvd
because I thought it was the perfect match.
I used both sides of the designer paper using my
lacey circles die and topped it all off with
a banner from vintage Making Memories.
By the way, his blow-tickler will feel nice and warm
when it reaches out using denim & maraschino
bakers twine from The Twinery.

Tomorrow, Nov 1st will be a fun big blog hop
with all of the TCM Designers when the sets
officially go on sale and you will not want to miss out!

Make sure you stop over at the
because there's a great giveaway going on
for both of these sets.
Leave a comment here and
let me know
'whoo's birthday' would you create a
card for with this set?

Hello Fall! The Twinery Meets LYB!!

Happy Monday All!

I am really excited to share today with you as it is
the beginning of one creative week over at
The Twinery as several of our designers join
with the designers of Little Yellow Bicycle!
I can't wait for you to see all the fall inspiration using
LYB's 'Hello Fall' collection and unique and fun ways
to use bakers twine from The Twinery.

I adore the acetate cut-outs from LYB and layering them
on this card really added to the texture of the embossed
background which was created using the 'Plants' EF
from QuicKuts.
The journal spot is connected in a fun way using
mini-brads and of course it's all tied together
with Mandarin & Cappuccino bakers twine.

Speaking of textures, this card is loaded with them.
I used our Buttercream bakers twine to
outline the centers of the pear.

The focus of this card uses the 'Pear Vine' EF
and the gigantic pear Bigz die both from Sizzix/BasicGrey.
The beautiful designer paper from LYB is a perfect match
to the PTI 'Orange Zest' cardstock.
Top it off with LYB's Fabric Faves ribbon and you have
a sweet treat indeed.

Last but not least....

I for one cannot have too many owls this season
and this adorable guy is irresistable.

He & the banner he is perched on are also from
the 'Hello Fall' Fabric Faves.
What I love about this collection too is that the beautiful
die cut tree you see here, comes in a variety of sizes.
You'll find it on the 12 x 12 cardstocks for layouts
down to the small embellishments like you see here.

For this card, I intertwined The Twinery's
'Honeydew' & 'Cappuccino bakers twine and gave the
tree dimension.
I can always count on my Martha 'Icicle' punch to
create great grass, and I did that using cardstock
and LYB's 'Delicious Autumn Text' DP.

All of these cards are PERFECT for the
CARDS Challenge, so I hope Paige likes them
and I will share them for the FALL CHALLENGE over at
Little Red Wagon.

Well...this is just a taste of what you will see
each day this week over both

You also have a wonderful opportunity to win prizes
from both companies and it's pretty easy to do.
There are only 3-4 blogs you need to visit each day.
When you do, make sure you leave a comment
and you'll be entered to win.
There are additional ways to have more opportunities
to win, so make sure you check that out on

Hope you enjoyed your visit!
I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Thinking of You...

For the

Hi everyone...I am back again with another fun
blog hop and as you might guess from the photo,
I am coming to you from The Twinery!

then you are on the right track.  If not, it's just
one blog back to get started on the hop!

There are some pretty amazing prizes up for grabs
to two lucky people, so make sure you leave a
comment on each of the blogs on the hop to be
eligible to win.  I'll share the prizes with you
in just a sec....

This is 'Blush Bonnie' from TGF...talk about FAB!
I colored her with Copics, dressed her up
with a little Pink Sorbet bakers twine
and she is ready for the dance!

The additional textures on this card were created
using Honeydew bakers twine, the notebook edge punch
from EK Success, my go-to EF 'Swiss Dots'
from Cuttlebug and the new

So let's talk prizes!

One winner is going to get...

The Twinery Has Gone Sweet 'n Sassy

It's blog hop time once again at The Open Window.

has teamed up with

If you've arrived here from the Sweet 'n Sassy Blog
you are in the right spot.
If not, just pop back to The Twinery blog where it
all gets started and enjoy the hop!
There are some great prizes to be won, so you won't want
to miss out on any of the fabulous inspiration
from the designers of both teams.

I really enjoyed working with the 'Forest Silhouettes'
from SNSS.  Masculine-style cards are sometimes
hard to design, but this set made it so easy!
My 'wallpaper' background is a mix of
Authentique's 'Free Bird' Collection and of course,
this card would not be complete without a few
baker's twine accents.
I mixed Denim, Honeydew & Cappuccino to match
the colors in the paper.

Both companies are giving away fantastic prizes...
From The Twinery...

and from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps...

Just make sure you visit each blog on the hop,
leave a comment and do so by midnight EST
on Saturday, Oct 22nd.
The winners will be announced on Sunday, Oct 23rd.

Your next stop on the hop is the very talented

Thankful for You

Here we are at the finale....it's Day #5
of New Release Previews for

We are finishing off our new release
sneak peeks with the whimsical new
stamp set called 'Fall Fun'

Although this set has a fall theme,
I chose to use the variations in this set
to bring you something completely not fall...

What I love about the stamps from TCM is how
versatile they are.  When you see this complete set,
you'll see exactly what I mean.
I paper-pieced once again...have been doing a lot
of that this week.  This set really lends itself to
that especially as I am not the best when it comes
to coloring.  I did color in the grass : ))
I used Echo Park's Dots & Stripes
(which is also available from TCM) for the
birds, flower and the clouds.
Again, I used my fave die from Lil' Inker Designs.

I am 'virtually' sending this card to
all of you
who continue to visit The Open Window
and encourage me each day to keep creating.
Make sure you visit The Craft's Meow blog
and check out the rest of the design team's
projects.  You will get a real taste for this set
by the time it is released on Saturday!

You can also win a set,
so make sure to leave
a comment before you leave.
TCM will be drawing a name
each day
and you never know
it could be YOURS!
