I am having so much fun with this stamp set
from Kristen Powers Ink.
I am the designer on her team that pretty much
sticks to 'physical stamping' so I was happy
to have this set play with : )
Owls are so 'in vogue' right now, aren't they?
Kristen is a fabulous illustrator and her coloring methods
make me drool. So I limited my coloring on these images
because it just can't compare : )
I stamped on 'kraft' cardstock, shaded everything then
decided to make the body of the large owl
and the crescent moon dimensional.
As I was working on this card, I thought
'this set is SO Kristen'
so I made sure that I layered with bright
colors, because Kristen's coloring tends
to be fun and bright!
This clear stamp set has so many images to choose
from. What I especially love is you can create
an entire scene, which is what I have done,
or you can use just one solitary image and still
make a statement.
If you are into 'instant gratification', many of
these images are available in a digital format.
I love the theme over at
It's using 'kraft'...that's definitely what I did,
so I hope the girls over there like my little creation.
