Open Design Team Call...
I knew it would happen!
Once I started playing around with these tissue paper flowers,
I would have a 'garden' full!
My mom and stepdad's 20th anniversary is Valentines Day
and they are master gardeners, so I wanted to make something that
reflects their love of flowers.
This card is TOTAL BOO!
The beautiful DP is from GCD 'Rose-Colored Glasses' Collection.
The flowers, believe it or not, were made from
handmade tobacco paper
that I have had in my collection for at least 10 years.
I threw in a little pink crepe and cornflower blue tissue as well.

Julie I love your paper flower. They are are so much fun to make. I stumbled upon Mona's video and fell in love with them, but I don't think mine turned out as pretty as yours. What did you use to cut out the flower?
Thank you for the kind comment about my card. I would love to play along with The Play Date Cafe. Thanks for the invitation. I'll try to get there soon.
Linda.....the flower was cut using my Dahlia Nestibilities from Spellbinders...just ran it through my Cuttlebug.
Thank you for your kind comments!

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get set up? I'm
assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% sure. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
