April Showers Bring...The Play Date Cafe

I have no ideas where the days go!
The week just flies by!
Speaking of the days flying by...

I want to wish my bestie
Sarah Anderson
a very happy birthday.
I sure do love this girl!!!

It is time once again for....

I am so ready for the spring and am in
love with this graphic that Ruby
gave us to play with.

This week our entire design team played with the images from
Lizzie Anne Designs.  I was thrilled to get the 'Dream Big' Collection
that includes images just in time for the spring & summer.
I kept this card very Clean & Simple, letting the cardstock,
inks and embellishments do most of the work.
For my clouds, I pulled out a vintage template from
my days of having a stamp store.
It is the best template for making clouds that I have
ever come across and it will never let it
leave my studio!

As I said before, our team used the fab images from

and are pleased to have this amazing prize
up for grabs...

We are also very happy to have
Taylor Usry as our Guest Designer this week.
She is on the DT over at Lizzie Anne and has
brought a beautiful piece of inspiration to
share with you over in The Cafe.
Along with yours truly, here's who is
designing with me this week:

and our special guest designer

Hope you will play along this week.
We'd really love to have you!

So glad I read every word! Totally would've missed those fantastic clouds! They're perfect! I just hate the way pictures don't do our projects justice! LOVE the way you've entagled that May medallion in twine and your haphazard stamping of the flowers, too! Well, I guess that's just EVERYTHING ;)!

Such a pretty card - so light and airy, and a perfect showcase for the bright, springy colors in this week's challenge! (And the touch of sparkle from the rhinestones is perfect!)

I LOVE how you used that flower stamp. When I looked at it, I couldn't think of how to use it, but you've really allowed it to shine with such beautiful use of color. I like how you featured that may stamp too with the use of twine. Such a fresh and pretty card this week!

I love how you used your LAD stamps, Julie! I couldn't figure out how to use the "May" stamp...but it's great how you strung it with Twinery goodness, dangling above a field of flowers. Genius!
