I Love a Little Splash...The Play Date Cafe

I think I've finally run out of unique ways to introduce you to
everyone's favorite challenge
hosted by
my favorite challenge.

So I'll let the graphic do the talking...

The unique idea behind this particular
'Color Splash'
is that you get to choose which color
you'd like to play with!

Now I do need to remind you that when we
speak of 'color splash', it means:

ONE COLOR
and
JUST A SPLASH OF IT

My 'splash' is called 'Blossom' and it comes from the use
of this beautiful baker's twine from The Twinery.
It's one of the newest colors from this wonderful company
and it works really well with black and white.

Along with the beautiful baker's twine, I finally used these
terrific acetate stickers which were multi-dimensional and
also had their own 'splash' of pink.

Here's some more fabby news....

Check out who our sponsor is this week over
in The Cafe....

Uh-huh!!!
Wait till you see what's up for grabs as a prize!

That's some serious baker's twine stash, right?!!!

All of the girls on our team at
The Play Date Cafe chose their own color
of twine to use as their 'splash' for this week
and you'll be missing out on some pretty amazing
creativity if you don't pay a visit.
Here's who you will find over there designing
along side of me:

So glad you stopped by and I hope you'll
leave a quick little note to let me know
you were here : )

Those stickers are AMAZING - so pretty with the blossom twine. Your cards are always so striking. I'm constantly amazed at how you can change things up to create something still so stunning but entirely fresh.

OH, this reminds me of something French. It's got something to do with your colors, but also the sentiment reminds me of Maurice Chevalier's "Thank Heaven for Little Girls". I love it, Julie. :)
