Color Challenge...last minute...But it's Done!

Last minute entry for the SP Color Challenge.
I have had this sketch drawn out all week long, but with the
AI Blog Hop and regular 'life' things,
I just couldn't get to until today.

A little different take for Julie Ranae,
but it was fun to 'think outside the old box'!

Broke out the 'Bug' for this project. The scalloped circles, leaves, swiss dots and monkey are all from Cuttlebug. The tree was my own 'dang' design and the stamp is from Treasure Cay, a store that I visited down in Tampa, Florida
just prior to opening mine back in 1997.

I found the real challenge in this project to be the lavender with the other fall colors,
but I think this worked out ok.

Challenges....Challenges.....Challenges

I have been doing a bit of blog hopping today in preparation for sharing my new favorites list later tonight and I found another color challenge that was new to me. This challenge comes from Scrapmaster's Paradise. Samantha is the challenge coordinator, also known as the 'Diva Coordinator' and she does a fabulous job with making it easy. But truth be told, I DID find this one a bit of a challenge. I love all the colors, but I think I am so heading towards autumn that I had a difficult time going pastel, but isn't that what a 'challenge' should be?! So great job, Samantha. It's been awhile since I pulled out everyone's favorite 'high heels' and I couldn't resist the opportunity to add a matching handbag, although I think Clinton and Stacy over at 'What Not to Wear' would say it's 'too matchy, matchy'!
