Happy Easter with The Craft's Meow

I'm so happy you stopped by today because it's time
for a little inspiration for Spring.

It's our TCM March Blog Hop!

If you've already been hopping with us, then you
should be swinging by from my dear friend & teammate

If not, I'd love for you to start over at
and hop along with us.
Each designer has worked hard to bring you a
fabulous creation for Easter Encouragement.

Ever since TCM released the 'Easter Blessings' set
I've been in love.  The little critters in this set are so sweet.
I grabbed this Sizzix circle frame EF & embellished it with
a little ink & Liquid Pearls.
The paper is from Authentique.

The lacey flower was cut from a 6x6 pad by My Mind's Eye.
I cut it out & embellished it with a fun button & baker's twine from The Twinery.
A few tiny pearls and done.

Here is the adorable stamp set I used...

The next stop on the hop today is the very creative

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I'd love to hear from you !

Welcome back to The Open Window

I am really excited to share today's preview from

It's New Release Week and today's set is simply  . . .
' sweet '

It's called 'Easter Blessings'
designed by Karen Baker

Nothing says 'New Beginnings' to me like Dogwood blooms.
I couldn't resist these from Martha Stewart and thought they
were the perfect addition to these sweet little animals from TCM.

Once I inked each stamp, I pressed it on scrap first so I could
create a simple ' shadow ' of each creature.
The inks were from A Muse Studio.

Although it's not as visible in the photos, I embossed
the beautiful cardstock from Bazzill using the
' Stylized Flowers ' EF from Cuttlebug.
The ribbon is also from Martha Stewart.

How would you like a chance to win this set ?
All you have to do is stop by the TCM blog and leave a note
to say you stopped by for a visit.
Each day of the previews will bring another set up for grabs.
You have until 8pm PST, February 19th to comment to be eligible.

Thanks so much for coming by.
I would love to hear from you and I'll keep my fingers crossed
that YOU win this beautiful set.
Just in case, make sure you put it on your ' must have ' list !

Spring is Here with The Craft's Meow

It's certainly Spring here at The Open Window as it's
Day #1 of
New Release Previews

Each day this week, you will see a new set
revealed and have a chance to win a set each day!

Before we get to it, I am so excited to welcome our
April Guest Designers at TCM...
Gini Cagle & Geri Freeman
These women are super talented and I am so glad they
will be a part of the new release festivities.

Our first sneak peek is called 'Nature's Beauty'
from TCM illustrator Michelle Bertuzzi

Another very versatile set indeed!
I did a lot of 'fussy cutting' for this card, but I like the
way it turned out.  Had my fingers held out, I would have cut a dozen more
of these blossoms and created even more layers.
The centers were created using Liquid Pearls.

I would love to submit this cards for the call over at CARDS/Create
for the Spring Cards Challenge.

I think it would be really elegant to stamp these same blossoms
in black and white and have that lovely little butterfly in a bold color.

The next release sneak is from TCM illustrator
Kaitlyn Ord called 'Travel Time'.

I took a really BOLD approach with this stamp set.
I created my own background using the sentiments that come
with the set and layerd the uber-cool airplane on top.
I LOVE the 'newspaper-style' graphics on the plane.

Just wait till you see the rest of this set  !!!

Make sure you pop by
and check out the fabulous-ness
from all of the designers.
TCM is giving away a new release set
each day, so make sure you leave a comment
on the blog for a chance to win!

I am so glad you stopped by today and I hope
you will plan to come by each day this week
so you don't miss a thing!

Beautiful Spring with The Craft's Meow

The day is finally here  !!!

The designers at The Craft's Meow have been so looking forward
to this week of new release previews.
It's extra special because TCM is celebrating our
first birthday!

Over the next four days, we will share previews of 1-2 sets
each day and to make it extra fun, we will have a challenge available
for you to participate in so you can join the celebration
and have a chance to win prizes & a possible
GUEST DESIGN spot with TCM!
For all the details, check out the TCM Blog.

Here is our first challenge....

A beautiful sketch challenge by our creative
Amy Tsuruta.

The first two sets we are previewing were designed by the very talented
Nina Brackett of Nina B Designs for TCM.
'Beautiful Spring' & 'Mother & Father' are perfect for this time of the year.

For this card, I stamped a base with a gorgeous floral image from the
'Beautiful Spring' set in Latte & French Roast ink by A Muse Studio.
All A Muse Studio inks are available directly to your door from
my web store HERE
They are the perfect shade to match these papers from Echo Park.
I used the Fancy Tags Two & Standard Circle dies from Spellbinders
to create the focal points.  How beautiful is that butterfly...also from
the same stamp set.  I adore Nestabling by Want2Scrap and thought
it was the perfect embellishment for the sentiment.

I love the 'vintage-style' florals of this paper and hope it's ok
to share it with the folks over at CARDS/Create for their
'Vintage Florals' Challenge.

How would you like a chance to win one of these stamp sets before they
go on sale next week?  All you need to do is visit our designer's blogs and
make sure to leave a comment over on The Craft's Meow blog.
You'll have until 9pm PDT each day to leave your comment and the winners
will be announced the following day along with the next preview & challenge.

We would love for you to play along with each challenge during our
1st Birthday Bash...all the details are on the TCM Blog.

I'd love to hear from you....please leave a note & make sure you leave
a contact address so I can say hello back.

Enjoy the bash!!!
