Thinking Clean and Simple

Thought I would share a couple new cards I made during
the week.  I have been super busy with new creative things
going on and haven't had as much time to play.

I absolutely love the Stella and Rose Collection
from My Mind's Eye.

I think the colors are unique and fun to put together
and the names of each sheet are fun too.
Here I used pieces from 'Hattie' & 'Mabel'
including the wonderful chipboard pieces.

They are very substantial pieces and the
colors are all so vibrant.  I added one of
my favorite 'natural' buttons tied off with
'lemon drop' baker's twine from The Twinery.

Most of you know that I am involved with a
brand new CAS challenge called

and my mind is thinking very
Clean & Simple this week...
so I created this little birthday greeting...

I am also loving the bits and pieces that I have left
from the 'So Sophie' Collection from My Mind's Eye,
which is where the die cut tag is from.
The big lace doily is from Hero Arts and stamped with
one of my favorite neutral colors, mushroom which is
an Adirondack pad from Ranger.

Well...that's it for now.

As I mentioned, I am excited about the new
challenge who's DT Call ends just as I am
typing this post.
Michele and I have our work cut out as we go
through nearly 90 DT submissions,
which is a phenomenal response to a new challenge.
I look forward to sharing the news along the way
and hope that you will plan to play along.

Of course, please don't forget my flagship challenge,

The colors are fab and fun and you will
find amazing inspiration from our
design team when you stop by and relax
a bit in The Cafe.

Here's to a wonderful weekend!
Hope you'll leave a note to let me know
you stopped by...I treasure each visit
and would love to pay you a visit as well!
