Layers of Lace...Paper Lace

So after I played around with the Moxie Fab Challenge yesterday,
I decided to take it in another direction using DP.
So here is my take on 'Paper Lace'.

I so love this punch set from Martha Stewart.  It was on my wish list
for several weeks and WHY I didn't buy it sooner is beyond me.
Love the color trend using saffron yellows and gray, so I went
BOO here and used DP from the 'Everafter' collection from
Cosmo Cricket.  The butterfly is from K&Co's 'Wild Saffron'
set, the ribbon is American Crafts
and the sentiment is Renaissance Stamps.

Counting the focal point, there are 7 layers on this card..
I really enjoyed making this one.

So here's a question for you....

What is your all-time FAVORITE color combination?
I have always been a fan of pink, white and gray or black
and now I love pinks and browns together.
Is it something you have loved since your were little
or is it something that you never thought you would use
and now you can't stop!?

Please leave a comment and share your favorites...
You never know when YOU might set the next trend!

Oh Julie this is absolutely stunning!! The layered effect with that punch is just fabulous. I love this colour combo, love it in the sky too, those days when the sky is grey with a hint of yellow!!
Favourite colour combo is a bit harder though. I always head for blues of some description, currently turquoise/teal, but it varies as to what I combine them with :)
Can't get over how fab this card is :) Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Such lovely, lacey layers!! Beautiful card. I don't know that I can pinpoint one fave color combo - I love color, and my preferences vary from season to season. Right now I'm loving deep dusty purple, blush pink, and robin's egg blue. But that will definitely change come fall, LOL!!

Very pretty Julie! You surely worked magic with that punch! I like most soft, natural, earth tones. Aqua & pink is my most favorite color combo :)

I love that punch to! Had to have it, use it often. You made a great card with it! As for color, never met one I didn't like in the right circumstance. Just love color! There are some I'd never wear, but they work for crafting!

Julie, that lace punch is fab! It all goes together so well, I can see why it's a fave colour combination.
Not sure about my own favourite colours - they seem to change, I must be very fickle!! I wear a lot of gray and black, but for art??? Have to think about that. I do like bright colours though.

Love all of your layers! Love that punch too, I must get it;)
Beautiful colour combo. I have a few favourite combos, black & cream with a colour/ anything with aqua/ orange and pink and I have always resisted the purples, but have found of late that anything I create with that family usually looks nice ;)

Ooh Julie, this is LOVELY! My favourite colour combos are browns with blues, lime greens and reds. I've liked browns and blues for a while now having been inspired by some patterned paper, but I've always been into most bright colours. LOVE your layered lacy look, it's fab!
