A Final Walk with EAD Designs

 Recognize these ?

It's what got me hooked on a company called

And now what a bittersweet post to share.
Today bring us the final day we will be blog hopping
together as the designers of EAD Designs.

EAD has decided to close it's doors as new opportunities
are on the horizon.

It has been my pleasure to be a part of such a fantastic
company and a very creative team.

If you are here by way of the hop, you will have made
your way here from

If you would like to say farewell to each designer,
you'll want to stop by the
and make sure you leave a note along the way.

For my final post, I thought I would take a walk
down memory lane by revisiting some of the
projects I created during the past 10 months
as an EAD Designer.

Technically, this collection of cards and tags was created
just prior to coming on board as a designer, but they've always
been some of my favorites.

You can read the original post HERE

Here are some fairly Clean and Simple designs that were created
along the way for a variety of occasions.
To see the original posts, you can click each of these links:

Here are snippets of some fun and very different designs
using a variety of EAD Stickers.  I always enjoy adding embellishments
to my cards and these designs were perfect for that.

I created this one during the London Olympics and loved adding
the bling to the Eye.  The original post is HERE

I added a lot of elements to these sweet little Stickerz
and created a very flat, but dimensional card.
You can see how it was all completed HERE

Finally . . . I can't finish off the day without something for
Halloween.  Even though these projects were shared most
recently, I thought it would be great to end with these.

Who wouldn't love this colorful guy outside their back window ?
You can read more about this card HERE

and finally . . .

Everyone's favorite little green guy trying to escape
just reaching for that big blue gem !  You can find this card HERE

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !

I've appreciated all the Mondays you've spent during our
Designer Blog Hops with EAD Designs.
I'll miss our dates, but I'm sure something will fill those
days soon.
Until then, please make sure you stop by my creative teammate
I know she has something pretty fabulous for you !

Thanks for coming by and walking down memory lane
with me and I hope you'll leave a little love before you go . . .

Last week, the sad announcement was made that EAD
would be closing their 'web' doors this month.
I will miss my Monday visits via our blog hop  : (

This is such a fun, geometric Stickerz set from EAD called
'Your Birthday'
I love the idea of bold, black graphics with red, don't you ?
I kept this really clean and SIMPLE for sure, as I used
Bazzill's swiss dot cardstock, so no embossing for me !

I embellished with the additional gems and that's it !

I also used this set on my Halloween card a couple
weeks ago and thought I would share it here, just in
case you missed it.  I love the 'bubbles' !

You can read all about it HERE

Here is the terrific set I used

you'll stop by again soon

I have had so much fun this season creating Halloween cards
and EAD is a BIG reason . . . just LOOK at this guy ! ! !
To create this card, I focused on the fun Stickerz set called
'Halloween Owls'
I just love that star hanging and thought it would be great to
add dimension by adding star gems and tiny rhinestones.
The sparkling stars next to the owl magician are from the
'Hocus Pocus' Stickerz set.

The sentiment is from the 'Birthday Sentiments' Stickerz set.

The final day to place orders is October 21st
so make sure you get your order in quickly!
Remember . . .

then you are in the perfect spot.

If not, we'd love to have you go back to the
and get started there.

I haven't made many Halloween cards yet and it's one of my
favorite things to make during the season.
I love the colors and the fun themes and for this card, I mixed
two sets of 'Stickerz' from EAD . . .
'Hocus Pocus' and 'Your Birthday'
The only additions to the card is everyone's favorite
'Drippy Goo' punch from Martha Stewart and a
few tiny rhinestones.

Here are the sets I used . . .

It's time to send you on your way to

Hope you enjoyed your visit.
It was lovely to see you.

Make sure you leave a little love before you move on

Egg-Citing!

Hey hey everybody!

I am so glad to be back here at The Open Window.
I've been W.A.Y. under the weather for about a week
and have missed being creative, so it's perfect timing
for a brand new color challenge from

This week, we are sponsored by the great folks over at EAD Designs.
Our design team was able to play with collections from EAD
and I chose to use 'Just Chicken In'.
I was so happy to find this week's colors in the beautiful fall
paper from FarmHouse Paper Company purchased from
I cut 'eggs' using my Spellbinders Standard Oval dies
and it was all pretty simple.

Here is the fun set I used . . .

and here is some GREAT news . . .

So come check out all the fun designs from our team
and play along! We would love to have you!

Just 'Chicken' In

and an inspirational one as well.

The designers of EAD Designs

are getting together with the designers of

Hopefully, you came by way of
Crazy About Cricut's Blog
so you can hop right along with us.

If not, we would love for you to join us a few stops back at the
EAD Designs Blog
because we always offer a fabulous prize to a lucky winner!

I absolutely adore this set of Stickerz from EAD called 'Just Chicken In'
I used one of Martha Stewart deep edge punches to create the fun
border background using paper from Cosmo Cricket.
I then cut two Lacey Circle frames using my Spellbinders dies
and placed the Action Wobble spring between the two.
It was difficult for me to capture the actual 'wobble' with my
little camera, but take my word for it . . .
When you 'flick' the fun little chicken,
it TOTALLY wobbles !
You can sorta see it below where the shadow is . . .

Here is the set I used today

and the best news is . . .

You can place your order HERE

I'm so glad you stopped by today.

Fall ...

Welcome back to The Open Window.

I hope you had a lovely weekend.  The temps took a real 'dip'
the past few days and inspired me to create using a lot
of fall themes, beginning with today's project for

I hope you will hop with us today because there is always
a terrific prize at the end.

If you made your way here by way of our

This week, I enjoyed playing with the 'Fall Harvest' Stickerz from EAD.
I pulled out some beautiful paper from last season from
Little Yellow Bicycle called 'Hello Fall' and layered
all of my elements on top.
I twisted three different baker's twines from The Twinery
in Mandarin, Honeydew and Cappuccino and tied my
tag with a 'rag' knot.

Here is the set I used

and don't forget . . .

So great to have you come by today.
I hope you will be inspired to create for the autumn season.

It's time to send you on your way to
