I know I repeat myself a lot, but I really did enjoy
playing with this set.
When I started working on this card, I knew that
I wanted to create a sense of the 1960's.
This beautiful designer paper made just the right 'wallpaper'
to take me back to my great-grandmother's house
as a small child.
Yes...I went back to a little paper-piecing with the
pie and the pie plate and I really love the print.

don't which part I like best, the paper pieced pie, the embossed paper, the wall paper or the forked layered banner. Lots to look at and lots to savor --just like Thanksgiving should be.
Really beautiful card! Its so special that you said it takes you back to your great grandmother's house! :D How special is that! As a child we never had pies. We only had fillo spinach and feta cheese pies but with filo dough. :D The best pie that I ever had is my sister-in-laws mother makes the BEST pies ever! :D Especially blueberry. Makes me want to make my own pumpkin pie! :D Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Julie! :D
I love the banners! I love the look of them, but never make them. maybe I will give it a try! Thanks for sharing with us!
