Sharing our hearts for Katie Renz

It's the start of a brand new week here at 

The Open Window and a very bittersweet post to share.

If you have visited my blog in the past few days, it will

be no secret to you that the papercrafting community is

one of the most caring on the planet.

We are now coming together to as a family once again...

Although I don't know her personally, Katie Renz

has been an inspiration to me since I've learned of

her story....she has been battling an inoperable cancer

since just before Christmas of 2010.

It was diagnosed in a matter of days .... and you can

read of her diagnosis if you visit her post here.

This wife and mother of 3 had her world forever changed

and has shared her story during her struggle.

The theme for this blog hop came after she recently

posted on her blog and I hope you will visit this post

to see why we are all 'Swimming for Katie'.
